Can You Find Jack???

This week Jack is on the move again. His eyes are tired from all the late night reading he has been doing, so this week he thought he would try listening to a story. Jack is looking for an audiobook that is a teen series favorite. The book features vampires and werewolves. The author’s initials are S.M. Can you find Jack?????

Jack is on the move again!

This week Jack has moved to a new area of the library. He is in the mood for a real page turner. His favorite fiction writer used to be a lawyer. Many of his books have been made into movies.  Tom Cruise starred in one movie and Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts starred in another one. Can you find Jack???

We Haiku. Do You???

Did you know that April is Poetry Month? Help us celebrate by writing a Haiku poem. Even better, write a Haiku about a book you’ve read and enjoyed.
A Haiku is a traditional Japanese poem. It consists of three lines. The first and third line contain five syllables and the middle line contains 7 syllables.
Here is a Haiku about one of my favorite books. Can you guess what book?

Is Taught by Mcgonagall
In seven novels

Here’s another one:

The Curtis brothers
Live on the east side of town
Sun sets in both sides

Write your own Haiku in the comments section or email them to

Jack is reading non-fiction this week.
Jack likes to read about art.
Right now, Jack can't decide whether to read about Gauguin or Monet.
